Drying and storage do different jobs
A vacuum bag is used to store a spool between print jobs. It does not dry moisture already absorbed by the filament. If drying is needed, follow the filament supplier's instructions for that material before storage. Storage and moisture control during printing are also separate tasks.
Choose by the spool's actual dimensions
Measure the spool's outside diameter and width. Allow room for the spool's thickness, the full zipper closure and access to the valve. A nominal spool weight alone does not establish whether a bag fits. Send the dimensions or a sample when confirming a kit.
Close the pack after each use
Keep the sealing tracks free of filament fragments and dust. Close the full opening, place the valve area flat and use the matching pump. White-valve and blue-valve bags are both in the filament range. Blue-valve bags are for filament and other non-food storage; they are not the food option.
Confirm the desiccant and pump configuration
The filament bag offering includes desiccant. Confirm its type, quantity and replacement guidance for your order. Long and short pumps are configuration choices; that does not mean both pumps are included in every kit. A humidity indicator, when specified, does not directly measure moisture inside the filament.
