On the white-valve bag shown here, the separate clip helps press the zipper closed, the one-way valve lets air out and limits its return, and the double zipper can be opened and closed again. Each part has a specific job.
The standard white-valve bag has a double-track zipper and comes with a separate closure clip. Sliding the clip along the opening helps engage both tracks. The clip can then be removed: the zipper keeps the bag closed, and no additional heat seal is needed after evacuation.
See the white-valve bagRemoving the valve cover reveals the red one-way valve core. Air leaves through the valve during evacuation. When the pump stops, the silicone core returns against the sealing surface to help limit air returning. The factory uses vacuum-hold checks, leaving the evacuated bag to rest and observing it for air returning.
Discuss the specificationAfter taking items out, the bag can be closed and evacuated again. The white-valve bag can be washed, and the valve can be removed for cleaning. Before using it again, check for debris in the zipper, make sure both tracks are fully engaged, and inspect the bag for damage.
