Choose the shape around the contents

A flexible vacuum bag moves closer to its contents as air is removed. A rigid container keeps a defined shape. A container may suit items you prefer not to compress or a packing routine built around a lidded vessel. Compare both formats against what you will store and how you will use it.

Check the whole system

The glass-container range uses valved lids. Confirm the selected container size, lid configuration and matching pump. A pump that fits one bag should not be assumed to fit every container. If the use involves liquids, explain the contents and intended handling before selecting the system.

Ask about each part's use conditions

Confirm cleaning, refrigeration, freezing and heating instructions for the exact container, lid and valve. These parts may have different requirements. Do not infer oven, microwave or dishwasher suitability from a photograph or from another product's specification.

Bring the application to the comparison

Share the contents, required portion or volume, available storage space and how often the pack will be opened. We can then discuss a bag or container configuration. Vacuum packing does not replace storage conditions appropriate for the food.
