Portions for different meals
Divide meat into the portions needed for individual meals and choose bags around the packed size. Follow the storage conditions appropriate to the food and the selected bag specification.
Divide ingredients into portions before putting them away. Meat, prepared vegetables and ingredients for different meals can be organised in separate bags, making the contents easier to arrange in the refrigerator.
The standard bag has a flat, three-side-sealed shape, a white valve and a double-track zipper used with a separate sealing clip. Choose the size around the portion you plan to pack, leaving the opening clear for closing and evacuation.
Use the bag within the storage and temperature conditions of the selected specification. Boil-in-bag and microwave heating are outside the current instructions.
Think about the portion you will use at one time and where it will sit in the refrigerator. This helps determine a useful bag size without packing the closure area too tightly.

Keep different ingredients in separate portions so they are easy to find when preparing a meal. Select a bag that leaves room to close the zipper without the contents pressing into it.
Group packed ingredients by meal or ingredient type. Before ordering bags in quantity, compare the portion size with the shelf or drawer where the bags will be placed.
Food portions, prepared ingredients and refrigerator drawers show how the bags can be arranged through a kitchen routine. Storage conditions depend on the food and bag specification.

The standard construction is a three-side-sealed flat bag without a standing base. Plan the refrigerator or drawer arrangement around a flat bag and the shape of the contents.
Use the separate sealing clip to press both zipper tracks closed. The clip can be removed after closing; no additional heat seal is required after evacuation. Keep the opening clear of the contents while sealing.
The recorded uses include freezer storage, warm-food filling and washing after use, and the white valve is removable. Ask for the temperature limits of the chosen specification. Boil-in-bag and microwave use are outside the current instructions.
